Oxon Hill Hit-And-Run Leaves Woman Dead, Police Searching For Involved Vehicle
PGPD are asking for the public's help in identifying the vehicle involved in a fatal hit-and-run that happened Nov. 21 in Oxon Hill.
OXON HILL, MD — Detectives are investigating a hit-and-run that happened Thursday night.
On Nov. 21 at approximately 9:10 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 6100 block of Oxon Hill Road for a collision involving a person. Officers found 52-year-old Sandra Abarca Orellana of Temple Hills in the road with trauma. She was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
A preliminary investigation indicates that the involved driver hit Orellana in the eastbound lane of Oxon Hill Road. The driver of the vehicle did not remain on the scene, police said.

Investigators are asking for the public's help in identifying the driver and find the involved vehicle. Anyone with information about this case is asked to call detectives at 301-731-4422.
