Lane, Shoulder Closure Along Northbound MD 202 Starts This Week For Construction Project

Drivers should anticipate lane and shoulder closures along northbound MD 202 this week in relation to a construction project.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Starting Wednesday, crews will begin repairing a damaged drainage pipe and pavement damage on northbound MD 202 (Landover Road) just past MD 450 (Annapolis Road) in Bladensburg.

Crews will work weeknights from 8:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. the following morning starting Wednesday night. The work will take approximately one month to complete, weather permitting.

During the overnight work hours, drivers can expect one lane to be closed as well as the shoulder on northbound MD 202. Southbound MD 202 will not be affected.
