Lane Closure Starts This Week Along Capital Beltway Near Landover Road

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration has started a project week at I-95/I-495 (Capital Beltway) near MD 202 (Landover Road) in Landover to repair weathered corrugated pipe.

Crews will briefly close the right lane on the Outer Loop of I-95/I-495 near exit 16 prior to installing concrete barriers on the shoulder. Once concrete barriers are installed, the right lane will reopen and crews will work within the shoulder area until the project is completed.

The project will take approximately three months to complete, weather permitting.
