BOWIE, MD — One thing the coronavirus pandemic has done is give all of us an appreciation for whom we consider "essential." It's not just health professionals or public safety personnel, it's the people who deliver our mail or stock our grocery store shelves, along with thousands of other workers that do their jobs without fanfare in order to make the world tick.

In these difficult times, Patch Local Heroes tries to honor the people in our community who are going above and beyond, whether they're officially deemed "essential" or not.

L. Michelle Fontaine of Brandywine has nominated Greg M. Williams as a Patch Local Hero. As a commercial truck driver-owner, he helps keep our grocery store shelves stocked.
