Man Sentenced After Stabbing Romantic Partner 10 Times Nearly Severing Her Lip
A man pleaded guilty and has been sentenced for stabbing his romantic partner 10 times, nearly severing her lip and cutting her to the bone.
DISTRICT HEIGHTS, MD — A Maryland man who stabbed his romantic partner 10 times has been sentenced.
Aron Williams, 33, of District Heights pleaded guilty to assault with intent to kill on Jan. 27.
According to the government’s evidence, on Feb. 23, 2024, Williams and the victim, his romantic partner, began arguing. Williams became angry and strangled the victim with both hands around her neck before grabbing a large hunting knife from a chair.

He then took the knife and stabbed the victim about 10 times on both arms, both legs, her mouth and her wrist. She started bleeding heavily since the gash to her wrist was to the bone and the gash to her mouth nearly severed her lip from her face, according to the prosecution.
Williams then ran off and left the victim and her son to call 911. She required emergency surgery to repair the cut to her wrist and stitches to close the wounds on her mouth, arms and legs, documentation showed.

Williams was sentenced to 10 years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release.
