MARC Train Strikes, Kill Pedestrian In Bowie: Report
A pedestrian reportedly has died after being struck by a MARC train in Bowie.

BOWIE, MD -- Police are investigating after a MARC train struck and killed a pedestrian in Bowie, according to a report.
Prince George's County Police tweeted late Sunday night that detectives were on the scene of a death investigation in the 9100 block of Flemming Road, and that it appeared the victim had been struck by a train.
Police did not identify the train but WTOP reported that it was a MARC train. The address is the Bowie State University MARC train stop.

Authorities are trying to identify the victim and figure out what happened.
WTOP reported that the Penn Line train, MARC 694, left Union Station in D.C. at 7:30 p.m. and terminated service after the incident. Four commuter trains and an Acela have been held for the investigation, according to the report.
