Person Hit By Metro Train Suffered Serious Injuries: PGFD
A person was hit by a Metro train Wednesday afternoon and suffered serious injuries. Rescuers pulled the person from underneath the train.
HYATTSVILLE, MD — A person was hit by a Metro train Wednesday afternoon and suffered serious injuries.
According to the Prince George’s County Fire/EMS Department, the person was hit around 3:51 p.m. at the West Hyattsville Station located on Hamilton Street. Train traffic was stopped in both directions so the patient could be removed from underneath the train.
