PG County Elementary School Lockdown Lifted: Police
An elementary school in Prince George's County was briefly placed on lockdown Friday morning.

LANDOVER HILLS, MD -- A lockdown has been lifted at a Prince George's County elementary school on Friday after an attempted armed robbery of a nearby business, police say.
Police placed Cooper Lane Elementary School in Landover Hills on lockdown "out of an abundance of caution" due to the incident nearby, Prince George's County Police tweeted at around 10 a.m. on Friday.
Police announced a little more than an hour later that the lockdown had been lifted.
