PGPD Officer Suspended Over Sexual Assault Allegations: Police
Police say a woman has accused an officer of inappropriately touching her.

NEW CARROLLTON, MD -- A Prince George's County police officer has been suspended after a woman accused him of inappropriately touching her outside the New Carrollton Metro station early Friday morning, police say.
Metro Transit Police are investigating the alleged sexual assault, and Prince George's County Police have placed the officer -- who was on duty at the time -- on suspension pending the results of the investigation, according to a report from PGPD.
The officer is cooperating with the investigation, the report states.

"Metro Transit Police detectives are reviewing surveillance video from the Metro station as part of their investigation," the report adds. "As is standard when allegations involve criminal wrongdoing, the officer has been suspended pending the outcome of the investigation."
