Pokémon Go players are walking into traffic, skulking through cemeteries, frequenting dusty small businesses (thanks!) and parks that haven't seen this many people since cable was invented (thanks, again!).

In a little more than a week since the game opened in the U.S., Patch has found players in the strangest places. A man playing in Nashua, N.H., Thursday afternoon stumbled across a dead body floating in a brook at a downtown park. "Apparently the person was playing this Pokémon game, which led him to an obscure spot," Nashua police Lt. Robert Giggi told reporters. >>> 9 More Crazy Stories

Pokémon Go Players Robbed at Gunpoint

A group was inside a home playing the virtual reality game, which is accessed through an app that uses GPS, when they were directed to Jasper Lane in Parkville near the entrance to Belmont Park, police reported.

When the Pokémon Go players arrived, police said they were confronted by two people, including one with a handgun who demanded their belongings. >>> Read more.

Pokémon Go Craze Creates Niche Market in Baltimore

From the waters of the Gunpowder River to the landmarks around Catonsville, drivers are offering to chauffeur Pokémon Go players for a price.

In Catonsville, one Craigslist ad promotes "PokéCab," which will take people around Baltimore County and Baltimore City, and even offers to catch Pokémon for people too. The rate is $15 an hour for driving and $10 an hour to catch Pokémon for players. >>> Read more.
