Police Seek 'Armed And Dangerous' Suspect In PG County

LANHAM, MD -- Police are warning the public to be on the lookout for a man who is "armed and dangerous" and suspected in the shooting death of his uncle in Lanham over the weekend.

Police were called to the 9000 block of Alcona Street at around 2:55 a.m. on Sunday to a report of a shooting, and officers found two victims, a man and a woman, according to a report from the Prince George's County Police Department.

The man, 69-year-old Alee Calokoh, was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are searching for 20-year-old Osman Kalokoh of Potomac, the nephew of the victim. Police believe he got into an argument with his uncle prior to shooting both of them.

"The suspect is not known to own or have access to a vehicle," the report states. "If anyone sees Kalokoh, they are urged to call 911."
