Power Out for Hundreds in Bowie Area

BOWIE, MD — More than 600 Baltimore Gas and Electric customers in the Bowie area were without power on Wednesday morning.

Across the network, thousands of customers were in the dark, with most of the issues in Harford and Baltimore counties.

The Bowie outage, in the area of Old Collington Road, was reported at 10:39 a.m. No cause has been released, but the power is expected to be restored by 12:45 p.m.
