Prince George's County Public Schools Make Thursday Weather Decision

As cold weather continues in much of the northeast, Prince George’s County Public Schools announced a two hour delay for Thursday, Jan. 8.

Any transportation scheduled for before noon are cancelled and food services will offer breakfast.

The Maryland Transportation Authority advises residents to keep gas tanks at least half full in order to avoid gas line freeze-up.

Use extra caution while walking and driving as surfaces are expected to be icy.
