Ramp Closure For Exit 4A From I-495 Southbound May Affect Drivers

Drivers should plan ahead starting Sunday when the ramp for exit 4A from I-495 southbound will close at 9 p.m. for a resurfacing project.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — The ramp for exit 4A from I-495 southbound will be closed during the overnight while road crews resurface and apply line striping at the I-95/I-495 (Capital Beltway) interchange with MD 414 (St. Barnabas Road).

All work will be done from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting Sunday night and should wrap up the morning of June 30, weather permitting.

Traffic will be directed to exit 4B on I-495 southbound where drivers can access both directions of MD 414. For the line striping, drivers can expect a double-lane closure on southbound I-95/I-495 between MD 414 and the Woodrow Wilson Bridge during overnight work hours.
