Register For 450+ Youth Summer Camps In Prince George's County
More than 450 youth camps will be available this summer. Register opens March 12 for Prince George's County residents.
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Register opens tomorrow for summer camps available to Prince George's youth. There will be more than 450 camps from which to choose.
Registration for non-residents opens March 19.
Whether their interest is in sports, arts, science, or outdoor adventures, there’s a camp just for them.

Parents and campers can choose from among the following types of camps:
- Hands-on Creative Expression – Art, theater, music production and even digital media camps spark creativity.
- Action-Packed Sports & Recreation – Basketball, soccer, tennis and even swimming lessons keep kids active.
- STEM & Innovation – Robotics, coding, and video game design camps provide engaging, tech-focused fun.
- Outdoor Exploration – Nature hikes, environmental science and survival skills camps encourage a love for the outdoors.
Most camps run Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with before and after care options available at select locations for the convenience of working parents. There also is a need-based scholarship for Prince George’s County residents facing financial hardship.

“Summer is a time for kids to explore, grow and make lasting memories, and we are proud to offer an incredible variety of camps to help them do just that,” said director Bill Tyler with M-NCPPC, Department of Parks and Recreation. “With activities ranging from sports to arts, STEM and outdoor adventures, every child can find a place to thrive.”
