Road Work Could Cause Delays For Prince Georgians Now Through The Winter

Prince George's County drivers should note that road work planned for now through early winter could cause travel delays.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — Starting Wednesday, the Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will perform patching and resurfacing on four miles of roadway on MD 193 (University Boulevard), MD 201 (Kenilworth Avenue) and MD 410 (Riverdale Road) in Montgomery and Prince George’s counties.

The work will be performed as follows:

  • MD 193 (University Boulevard) from MD 320 (Piney Branch Road) to the County Line
  • MD 193 (University Boulevard) from County Line to MD 193B (Campus Drive)
  • MD 201 (Kenilworth Avenue) from MD 431 (River Road) to MD 410 (East West Highway)
  • MD 410 (Riverdale Road) from MD 201 (Kenilworth Avenue) to MD 410 (Veterans Parkway)

All work will be done on weekends or overnight, Sunday through Thursday, 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. Weather permitting, this work will be complete by late fall/early winter.
