Section Of US 301 In Bowie Closing Nov. 13 Through December

BOWIE, MD — The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will begin a resurfacing project on US 301 (Crain Highway) between Excalibur Road and MD 214 (Central Avenue) in Bowie starting Monday, Nov. 13. The pavement improvement project should be finished by mid-December, weather permitting.

Drivers can expect single-lane and shoulder closures in both directions on US 301 Mondays through Fridays 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The contractor will use arrow boards and barrels to guide drivers through the work zone.

Drivers are advised to allow extra driving time to accommodate the traffic delays.
