Sinkhole Eats Car, Closes Road In Prince George's: Photos
A sinkhole opened up near Upper Marlboro, police said. A car fell into the pit and injured the driver, WJLA reported. Here are the photos.

UPPER MARLBORO, MD — Police said a sinkhole appeared Wednesday near Upper Marlboro and Clinton. WJLA reported a car fell inside the pit and was completely submerged in water. The driver suffered minor injuries, journalist Courtney Pomeroy wrote.
The Prince George's County Police Department announced the hazard around noon. Officers noted the crater is located on South Osborne Road near its intersection with Crain Highway, also known as U.S. Route 301.
Repair crews are on the site, authorities added. Officials don't know how long the street will be closed. Police did not mention what caused the sinkhole.
