Suspect Arrested On Child Pornography Charges In Prince George’s County

Maryland State Police arrested a Suitland man for the possession and distribution of child pornography.

SUITLAND, MD — Maryland State Police computer crimes investigators arrested a 37-year-old Prince George’s County man for the possession and distribution of child pornography Thursday, police said.

The suspect is identified as Ronald Williams, II, of Suitland. Police said a Cybertip was received by the Maryland State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) indicating a possible distribution of child pornography from a specific Internet address, which belonged to Williams.

Troopers obtained a search warrant for the Williams' residence and served the warrant shortly after 8:30 a.m. Thursday. A preliminary forensic review of his cell phone revealed multiple files of child pornography, police said.
