According to The Bay Net, in late March 2024, Bonaventure breached a protective order by contacting his former partner, the mother of his young child, through social media. Using an alias account, Bonaventure sent messages regarding child support and posted personal videos of himself. Law enforcement verified his identity and documented the incident as part of a string of violations linked back to him.
The protective order had been issued in October 2023 to safeguard the victim and her child, following allegations of domestic violence, including physical abuse, threats, and harassment. The Bay Net reported that court records detailed Bonaventure’s actions to include incidents of strangulation, physical beatings and repeated threats to the victim’s life. On Nov. 27, 2024, Bonaventure took more aggressive actions by attempting to enter the victim’s residence in Hollywood, Maryland. On Nov. 14, he was arrested for trespassing and burglary at a secured facility in Lexington Park. Two days later, he was implicated in another burglary incident, The Bay Net reported.
