Suspected Drug Dealer Arrested With Help Of A Drone

Laurel police officers deployed a drone while tracking a suspected drug dealer, which allowed them to find and arrest him, authorities say.

LAUREL, MD — The Laurel Police Community Action Team and Emergency Response Team last week arrested a suspected drug dealer after a brief foot pursuit.

With the assistance of the Laurel Police Drone Unit, officers tracked the suspect as he attempted to flee authorities. He was taken into custody, the police department reported.
