PGPD Won't File Charges In 16-Year-Old's Fatal Shooting

A 16-year-old has been fatally shot, but according to the PGPD, no charges likely will be filed in the case.

LARGO, MD — A 16-year-old has been fatally shot but Prince George's Police have not arrested anyone in the case.

On Nov. 16 around 9 p.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 700 block of Harry S. Truman Drive for a report of a shooting. They found 16-year-old Kesean Hunt of Accokeek outside with a gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he died a short time later, police said.

Detectives are investigating the incident and have spoken to several individuals, they said. The police department said detectives have spoken with the Prince George’s County State’s Attorney’s Office and at this time, there are no charges against anyone involved. No other details in this case have been disclosed.
