Toddler Falls 6 Floors, Suffers Serious Injuries
A toddler suffered serious injuries after falling 6 floors at an apartment the day before Thanksgiving, officials report.
COLLEGE PARK, MD — The day before Thanksgiving, a two-year-old fell from the sixth floor of the Seven Spring Apartments in College Park.
According to the Prince George's County Fire and EMS Department, the toddler fell from a "multi-family dwelling" located in the 9300 block of Cherry Hill Road shortly before 1 p.m. on Nov. 26.
The Prince George's County Police Department said the 2-year-old was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries, but the toddler is expected to survive.

The incident marks the second time in less than four months that a child has fallen from a sixth floor structure in College Park. In August, a 3-year-old boy tumbled from the sixth floor of a multi-family home and was flown to the hospital by U.S. Park Police's Eagle One medevac with life-threatening injuries.
