Undefeated PGCC Owls Hosting NJCAA Regional Basketball Tournament Feb. 24-25
The undefeated PGCC Owls will host the 2024 National Junior College Athletics Association Region 20 Division III Men's Basketball Tournament
PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — The undefeated Prince George's Community College will host the 2024 National Junior College Athletics Association Region 20 Division III Men's Basketball Tournament Feb. 24-25 in Novak Field House.
The PGCC Owls (19-7) are currently undefeated in Region 20 divisional play and will face Penn Highlands, ranked #4 in the division, in the tournament’s opening game on Saturday at noon.
“We are very proud of our student-athletes,” Jo Ann Rogers Todaro, Prince George’s Community College athletics director, said. “Their hard work and dedication have paid off this season and we can’t wait to support them at the upcoming tournament.”

As the hosting team, PGCC’s Owls will welcome a trio of colleges from Western Pennsylvania Butler County Community College, Community College of Allegheny County and Pennsylvania Highlands Community College.
The last time PGCC played against Penn Highlands was in November 2023, the game was a back-and-forth battle with the Owls winning 99-94. The Owls have won six Region 20 Division III championships since moving to Division III in 2011. Prince George’s Community College is currently ranked #10 in the NJCAA Division III national rankings.

Tickets are available for purchase in advance online at https://gofan.co/app/school/MD100038 or at the door using electronic payment only. All games will be live-streamed on PGCC’s YouTube channel at youtube.com/PGCCOwls. Live stats will also be made available for each game.
