Upper Marlboro Man Fatally Shot In Garage By Acquaintance: PGPD
An Upper Marlboro man has been fatally shot by an acquaintance, according to Prince George's Police.
UPPER MARLBORO, MD — Detectives are investigating a fatal shooting that happened Tuesday in Upper Marlboro.
On Nov. 19 around 8:55 a.m., Prince George's police officers were called to the 14200 block of Barenton Drive for a report of a shooting. They found 57-year-old Joseph Campbell in a garage with gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
The preliminary investigation indicated that Campbell and the man who shot him knew each other. The man remained on the scene after the shooting. Detectives are working with the Prince George’s County State’s Attorney’s Office regarding the investigation. At this time, no charges have been filed in this case.
