The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration (MDOT SHA) is assisting the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) with traffic control for repairs to a broken watermain on US 1 (Baltimore Avenue) in Prince George’s County. The repairs require the closure of the second northbound lane on US 1 from Pontiac Street to Quebec Street in College Park.

Repairs are expected to continue through the weekend, but there is no estimated time for the lane closure. Motorists and pedestrian sidewalk traffic should remain alert while in the work zone.
