Why Go: For a relatively tiny town, Riverdale Park has one heckuva Farmers Market. Go for the horseradish pickles, stay for the live music and food demonstrations.

Pricing: Free

2.

Where/When: College Park Youth and Family Services, 4912 Nantucket Rd, College Park, MD, Saturday, 10 a.m.

Why Go: Is there anything more adorably preposterous than watching your child hunt for foodstuffs that were stored in your refrigerator only moments before? I think not.

Pricing: Free

3.

Where/When: College Park Community Center, 5051 Pierce Ave, College Park MD, Saturday, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Why Go: Wait, did I say watching children hunt for eggs was the most coo-inducing sight ever? I meant watching them pose for photos with an oversized rabbit. Cue "awww" sounds.

Pricing: Free

4.

Where/When: Greenbelt Library, 11 Crescent Rd, Greenbelt, MD, Friday.

Why Go: Making your own bookmark may be as anachronistic as darning your own socks or churning your own butter, only this actually sounds fun.

Pricing: Free

5.

Where/When: Springhill Lake Recreation Center, 6101 Cherrywood Ln, Greenbelt, MD, Saturday, 2 - 6 p.m.

Why Go: Because Greenbelt's way of celebrating spring includes a moon bounce.

Pricing: Free
