Man Stabbed During Rush Hour Traffic On The ICC: Maryland State Police
A man was stabbed during rush hour traffic on the Intercounty Connector. Police urge residents to be on the lookout for a gray Ford pickup.

BELTSVILLE, MD — A man was stabbed during rush hour traffic on the Intercounty Connector (Md. Rt. 200) in Beltsville Wednesday, Maryland State Police said.
Police said the victim, a man from Reisterstown, was driving his pickup truck onto the ramp towards northbound Interstate 95 when he got in an argument with a driver in another pickup truck. The suspect allegedly traveled onto the shoulder and attempted to get around the victim to get on the ramp.
When the suspect was unable to pass the victim's truck, he allegedly exited his truck and ordered the victim to get out of his car. The victim, who was seated in the passenger seat, refused to get out of his car.

The suspect then opened the passenger door and stabbed the victim in his leg with a knife, police said. The driver immediately called 911 and the suspect fled the scene, heading on to the northbound I-95 ramp. The victim was transported from the scene to Laurel Regional Hospital by ambulance.
Police said several leads are under investigation. The suspect is described as a black male, about 6 feet tall and 225 pounds. He was wearing a dark t-shirt and blue jeans and driving a gray Ford pickup truck with an extended or four door cab configuration. Police believe the suspect was alone in his truck.
