A shelter in place order was issued as police searched for suspects connected to an off-campus incident.

COLLEGE PARK, MD — Two people were taken into custody following a robbery near the 8800 block of 36th Place in College Park Thursday, police said. Prince George's County Police said there was a residential robbery at that address.

Prince George's County Police along with the University of Maryland Police searched the area near the Chesapeake Building for the suspects, prompting a shelter in place order for those in the area.

Police said two male victims suffered minor injuries and the robbery does not appear to be random.
