1 Juvenile Killed, 1 Injured In Shooting Near MD Mall: Police
Two "juvenile males" were shot outside the Mall in Columbia, near Lidl, on Saturday, the Howard County Police Department said.

COLUMBIA, MD — One “juvenile male” was killed and another critically injured in a Saturday evening shooting outside the Lidl grocery store at the Mall in Columbia, the Howard County Police Department said in a news release.
Officers responded to the shooting, which happened in the parking lot and bus loop area outside the store in the 10300 block of Little Patuxent Parkway, just before 6 p.m. They found the two victims with gunshot wounds.

One victim was pronounced dead at the scene, while another was brought to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center in critical condition.
While no suspects were taken into custody, there is no ongoing threat of an active shooter, police said.
