​Aline M. Feldman, 90

Aline M. Feldman, 90, died peacefully on Monday June 18, 2018, in Columbia. An accomplished professional artist, Aline combined Japanese and white line printmaking technique with her own unique style and sense of color.

An outspoken champion of civil rights, avid reader and involved member of her community, she will be missed by many friends and family. Born in 1928 in Kansas, she attended Washington University in St. Louis and later graduated from Indiana University. She married J. Arnold Feldman in 1949 and they are survived by their three daughters Lynn Feldman, Pamela Feldman-Savelsberg and Rachelle Feldman; granddaughters Anna and Rebecca Savelsberg; and their partners and families including great-granddaughters Mara Aline Williams and Elise Vivian Williams.

Services were held Thursday at the Meeting House at Oakland Mills Interfaith Center, 5885 Robert Oliver Place, Columbia, MD 21045. The family received guests starting at noon followed by services at 1 p.m.
