In November 2024, Bark Social abruptly closed and the company announced it was filing for bankruptcy. But Brad Notaro, a Towson University graduate and Canton resident, bought the Columbia and Baltimore locations, reported CBS News. He also reopened the Bark Social in Baltimore.
"I'm a helicopter dog dad who goes above and beyond to ensure the safety of my pups. That same mentality is what I'm instilling into our brand and team, to ensure a positive and safe environment for both dogs and their owners," Notaro said.
