Clarksville Church Gets Support After Inclusive Sign Stolen

The church in Howard County will be installing security cameras and a new sign will be ordered after its flag was vandalized — again.

The sign was stolen from Linden-Linthicum Methodist Church in Clarksville, which will host a celebration when it is replaced. Its wooden posts were sawed through. It was also vandalized last June.

CLARKSVILLE, MD — The community is coming together after a church sign in Howard County was vandalized recently.

The sign stood outside the Linden-Linthicum Methodist Church in Clarksville and displayed the message: “Everyone is welcome here” on multi-colored stripes.
