On Feb. 17, 2017, Daniel Alpheus Safriet Jr. passed away; beloved husband of 50 years to Joan Elaine Safriet (nee Schroeder); loving father of Daniel Alpheus Safriet III, and Anissa Joan and her husband Kevin Patrick Good; cherished grandfather of Lydia Kathrine Good, Delayna Ann Good, and Avery Patrick Good; dear brother of Sybil Ann Safriet. He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel Alpheus Sr. and Ruth Myrtle Safriet, and by his sister, Pansy Ruth Safriet.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Witzke Funeral Homes, Inc., 5555 Twin Knolls Rd., Columbia, MD 21045, on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2016, at 11 a.m., Chapelgate Presbyterian Church, 2600 Marriottsville Rd., Marriottsville, MD 21104. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
