Food Drive Saturday Supports Food Insecure Families
Howard County leaders are hosting a non-perishable food drive Saturday to support food insecure families. There are 5 drop-off locations.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — This Saturday, Howard County leaders will host another non-perishable food drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at multiple locations across the country.
The items most needed are bags of rice, pasta and pasta sauce, spices, soups, tuna, peanut butter, sauces and condiments, bags of dry beans, hot and cold cereal, 100 percent fruit juice, diapers (size four plus), hygiene products, dish soap and cleaning products.

- George Howard Building, 3430 Court House Dr., Ellicott City
- Howard County Recreation and Parks' Headquarters, 7120 Oakland Mills Rd., Columbia
- North Laurel Community Center, 9411 Whiskey Bottom Rd., Laurel
- Rockburn Branch Parks' Pfeiffer’s Corner Schoolhouse, 6109 Rockburn Branch Park Rd., Elkridge
- Howard County Library System's Miller Branch, 9421 Frederick Rd., Ellicott City
"Every donation makes a difference. During this season of giving, we encourage everyone who is able to lend a hand and help ensure all of our neighbors have what they need," Howard County Executive Calvin Ball stated.
