Fourth Person Arrested In January Fatal Shooting In Columbia
Police are still searching for Jemik Parker, who they say fatally shot 17-year-old Lance Carrington while he sat in a car.

COLUMBIA, MD — Authorities have arrested a fourth person in connection with the death of 17-year-old Lance Carrington, who was fatally shot on Jan. 14 while sitting in a car in Columbia.
Jeremiah Robinson, 20, has been charged with first- and second-degree murder in Carrington's death, Howard County police said Friday. He is being held without bond at the Howard County Detention Center.
Authorities previously arrested Janae Baker, 18; Kendall Stagg, 18; and Charles Epperson Jr., 19; all of Columbia, in connection with the shooting. Authorities said the teens were present during the shooting, and each has been charged with first- and second-degree murder.

Parker supposedly shot Carrington before all four suspects fled, police said.
Police did not say how Robinson was involved in the shooting.
Authorities believe the group conspired to rob Carrington of a gun. When police found Carrington's body, they recovered a loaded handgun in his possession.
While Maryland state law typically does not allow a juvenile suspect’s identification to be released, even when charged as an adult, an exception exists “for the sole purposes of facilitating apprehension of a child and ensuring public safety” when a criminal arrest warrant is issued. Howard County police have identified Parker publicly because "his whereabouts remain unknown and he is considered a potential threat to the public due to the nature of his alleged crime."
Authorities are offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to Parker's arrest. Anyone with information should contact police at 410-313-STOP or HCPDCrimeTips@howardcountymd.gov. You can remain anonymous.
