The property also includes a 19th century main house and barns registered with the Maryland Historical Trust that features streams, ponds, pastures, run-ins, a round pen, tenant house and a modern stable including a workshop.

According to a document with the Maryland Historical Trust, the early 19th century home at Brick House Farm originally was built as a two-story home with a gabled roof, brick exterior, brick chimneys and an interior with a central hall and several entrances. In the early 20th century, a two-room, two-story wing was added to the west and a two-story-high east wing was built. It was completely renovated in 1920s or 1930s, historians said, and added a large den/sunroom on the west.
