HoCo Welcomes Popular Chicken Eatery Raising Cane's To Snowden River Shopping Center
Raising Cane's opened Nov. 7 in the Snowden River Shopping Center in Columbia. The restaurant will honor Columbia natives with its décor.

COLUMBIA, MD — Raising Cane's has come to Howard County.
The newest popular chicken eatery opened Nov. 7 at 9071 Snowden River Parkway in the Snowden River Shopping Center.
Raising Cane's is best known for its breaded chicken fingers and Texas toast, with sides such as coleslaw and crinkle-cut fries. The restaurant also has a chicken sandwich and its special Cane's sauce. Raising Cane's will feature images and memorabilia of famous Columbia natives such as actor Edward Norton.

Raising Cane's will be open Sunday through Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 a.m. The restaurant will have a double lane drive-thru and an indoor eating area plus an outdoor patio.
The Howard County Chamber of Commerce participated in an official ribbon cutting Tuesday morning and Raising Cane’s presented a check to The Casey Cares Foundation, a national nonprofit headquartered only a few miles from the restaurant in Columbia. The Casey Cares Foundation provides ongoing and uplifting programming to more than 1,300 critically ill children and their families, including siblings. Programming includes family-centric events such as tickets to sporting events, live shows, concerts and museums, group parties, birthday surprises and more.

“We are so excited to ... open up our fifth restaurant in the state and fourth in the Baltimore area,” said Ryan Helfer, area leader of restaurants at Raising Cane’s. “We look forward to serving this community of chicken finger enthusiasts and giving back to local charities and nonprofits.”
