Laurel Man Attempts To Steal ATM Out Of Exxon: Howard County Police
A Laurel man has been arrested after police say he attempted to help steal an ATM out of an Exxon in Laurel.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A Laurel man has been arrested and charged in connection to the attempted theft of an ATM out of a gas station.
The incident happened March 3 around 2:25 a.m. at the Exxon in Laurel located in the 9200 block of All Saints Road. Police were called to the scene after the front glass of the Exxon had been broken and suspects were attempting to steal the ATM. Police arrested Stephon Wallace, 33, of Laurel and charged him with burglary, destruction of property and theft, according to the Howard County Police Department.
In other police news, a store employee at the Kohl's located in the 4300 block of Montgomery Road, Ellicott City, told police that on March 1 around 6:26 p.m., she approached two females who were attempting to steal merchandise. Police reported that one suspect pulled out a knife. The suspects took off with some of the merchandise. No one was injured, according to the HCPD.
