Swastikas, Offensive Messages On Flyers Found Near School Bus Stop
Neighbors say they found flyers scattered on the ground near a school bus stop that featured swastikas and other offensive messages.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD —Residents have expressed concern about finding papers littering the street near a school bus stop with hate messages on them.
Dan Kelly told WBAL that a neighbor reached out to him about the papers that contained images of swastikas and other derogatory language.
"We found many more, I'd say, between two and three dozen, along the street. It appears as if someone maybe drove by, just dropped them around," Kelly said.

"It's scary to have that kind of hate," resident Nellie Hill told WBAL. "We're a very mixed community and we've never had real hateful stuff come out, and that was hateful."
Despite the offending messages on the papers Howard County Police told WBAL that it isn't a criminal case because the papers were "scattered along the street" and no one was targeted.
