Teens Face Charges In Burglary Of Fire Department Site

Two teen boys face burglary charges after police say they were on fire department property in Ellicott City after hours.

ELLICOTT CITY, MD — Two teenage boys have been arrested in connection to the burglary at a fire department property in Howard County.

The incident happened May 24 around 8:45 p.m. at Station 2, Ellicott City Volunteer Firemen's Association, located near the 4200 block of Montgomery Road. According to the Howard County Police Department, officers were called to a building for a report of several people at the property.

When they arrived, police officers noticed that people had entered the building. Two teenage boys were found in the building and were arrested. The 15-year-old boy from Ellicott City and a 14-year-old boy from Columbia have been charged with burglary, the police department stated.
