The mural will be visible from Battle Acre Park, and is across the street from North Point State Battlefield, where the Battle of North Point was waged, according to a statement from DRC officials.
"Baltimore County citizens played a vital role in America's history, stalling British troops as they sought to destroy Baltimore," Fran Taylor, chairman of the Baltimore County War of 1812 Advisory Committee, said in the statement. "This mural will be a reminder of the spirit and commitment of our citizens at the Battle of North Point."
