Industrious Girl Scouts Sell Cookies at Edgemere Polls
Girl Scout Senior Troop 1011 sold the organization's iconic cookies outside of Chesapeake Terrace Elementary School on Election Day.

Hoping to capitalize on high voter turnout, local Girl Scouts set up shop outside the polls at Chesapeake Terrace Elementary School on Tuesday, hoping to sell a few boxes of their famous cookies.
Early Tuesday afternoon, Becky Luke, leader of Girl Scouts Senior Troop 1011 was joined by Girl Scout Kiersten Nuehlberger as she staffed a table stacked with boxes of the iconic treat.
While election judges inside were pleased with voter turnout, which they described as "steady" throughout the morning, Luke said cookie sales were "slow so far."
