Within the next three weeks, an appeal letter will be presented, prior to April 24, to the courts. Along with this letter, we must include a filing fee that is approximately $600. We were just as shocked as you are now when we were told this enormous amount of money. We have verified that this is the only way to proceed if we want to stop this facility from locating in Edgemere.
We are asking for your help in raising this sum. Your prompt contribution will ensure that we are successful. Please send $20, $50 or whatever you can afford.
Together, we will continue to fight this. Volunteers have already spent many hours preparing a Motion for Reconsideration, researching documents, writing letters, talking with an attorney and attending meetings.
We will continue to do whatever is necessary, but your financial support now is greatly needed. Please make your support check payable to “North Point Peninsula Council."
Please mail your support check to: North Pont Peninsula Council, P.O. Box 444, Fort Howard, MD 21052.
Thank you in advance and we will keep you updated.
Very truly yours,
Harry Wujek, Jr.
President, North Point Peninsula Council
