The senior was recognized for excellence in and dedication to the school's business department, among other achievements.

Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts has named Anthony Tyree its most recent Student of the Week.

The senior was nominated for the honor by business teachers Lisa Norrington and Matt Lathroum, librarian Angie Tirschman and para-educator Terri Grimes for his "outstanding work ethic and active participation in the business department, according to a statement from the school.

Tyree has been a "wonderful library aide as he is motivated to do the work and has the initiative to begin work on his own," according to Tirschman and Grimes.
