Patapsco High Student of the Week: Scott Baron

Freshman Scott Baron is the latest Student of the Week at Patapsco High School and Center for the Arts.

He was nominated for the honor by physical education teacher Scott Rudolph, who called Baron a "fantastic" student.

"He works very hard in fitness foundations and leads others by example," Rudolph said in an email to Patch. "This past week Scott posted a 6-minute-and-20-second mile.  This was the fastest time in all the physical education classes this semester."

Baron goes out of his way to clean up equipment, demonstrates activities, helps others and is always on task, according to Rudolph.

"Scott is a great athlete and a great student," Rudolph said in the email.
