Intro to Baby Signing Time

Where: South Bowie Branch Library, 15301 Hall Rd., Bowie
Details: Attend this free library event and start your journey to learn American Sign Language with us so your child can communicate what they want and need.

AAMC Halloween Eve Blood Drive

Where: George P. Kalas Funeral Home

Puddle Stompers, Pre-K: Bats
When: 
Thursday
Where: 647 Contees Wharf Rd., Edgewater
Details: Learn all about helpful bats and play some hands-on games. These programs are for children, ages 3-5 yrs. All classes are $8 a student, which includes a materials fee. Siblings are $4 a student (sibling ages 1-2 years old or 6+ years old). Registration is online only at http://serc.si.edu

Subcontractor Open House

Where: 1001 Prince Georges Blvd., Suite 100, Upper Marlboro
Details: South River Restoration is looking for subcontractors like plumbers, electricians, HVAC, roofers, painters, flooring, etc., to partner with us on a variety of jobs.

Halloween Party

Where: Mayo United Methodist Church, 1005 Old Turkey Point Rd., Edgewater 
Details: This free Halloween party for all ages will include a costume contest, food, music, dancing, games and prizes.
