SEALs Name Camp in Afghanistan for Fallen Edgewater Soldier

Special Warfare Operator 1st Class Patrick D. Feeks of Edgewater was killed in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan one year ago.

U.S. Navy SEALS dedicated a camp in Afghanistan Friday in honor of Special Warfare Operator 1st Class Patrick D. Feeks, of Edgewater, who was killed in action on August 16 2012

Feeks, 28, was assigned to a West Coast-based naval special warfare unit at the time of his death. He, one other SEAL and two other soldiers died when their helicopter crashed while they were chasing insurgents in Kandahar, Afghanistan.

The camp was dedicated on the one year anniversary of Feeks' death.

Hornsby, 37, of Melbourne, Fla.; and Navy Special Warfare Operator 2nd Class David J. Warsen, 27, of Kentwood, Mich. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
