Erika Hayley Grice “Gerta”, age 20, a resident of south county, died on Monday, July 8. She worked at Skipper's Pier, The Twisted Bead and most recently as a nanny for a loving family and a barista at Whole Foods. She enjoyed photography, drawing, painting, acting, performing, dancing, making jewelry, being outdoors, camping and spending time with her family.

Constantin Kostas died July 8.
Eladia Leigh Parrilla, 39, a 13-year resident of Edgewater, previously of Bowie Maryland, died on July 4 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Ellie taught Special Education at Hart Middle School for 10 years and most recently at Bates Middle School.

James "Jimmy" Lee Aisquith, of Davidsonville, died on July 4, 2013 at the Mandrin Chesapeake Inpatient Care Center after a lengthy illness. Born December 24, 1962 in Annapolis, he graduated from South River High School. Jimmy was employed as a technician in the oceanography department at the United States Naval Academy for 28 years.
J. Ross Voorhees, 58, of Edgewater, died at George Washington University Hospital on July 2, 2013. An avid race fan, he attended almost all the Indy 500 races since 1968. He was past and present President of South River Park Community Association. He enjoyed fishing, boating, waterskiing, cooking, history and antiques.
Michael George “Big P” McClellan, 69, a 43-year resident of Riva, MD died Monday, July 1, at his home following a 3-year illness.
Ross Voorhees, a former South River Federation Board Member, recently passed away.
