Update: Missing Pug Found by Craigslist User

A random person on Craigslist posted an "ad" saying they recently picked up a pug wearing a sweater in the Edgewater/Londontown area.

Update 11:45 p.m.—A local dog went missing around 3 p.m. Thursday, but according to a post on Annapolis Craigslist, it appears the pooch was found just 40 minutes after it initially went missing.

A user on Craigslist posted an "ad" at 3:40 p.m. saying they found a small pug wearing a sweater, matching the same description listed earlier for Shamous the pug.

The post read, "Found pug running down middle of Londontown Road on 1/19. He was almost hit. I took him to the SPCA in Annapolis. He had on a sweater."

Patch reported this morning that Shamous went missing near Ridgley Road in Edgewater around 3 p.m. Thursday afternoon. However, Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch Facebook followers noticed the Craigslist post confirming that the dog had been found. 

Patch is still waiting to officially confirm with Shamous' owner Dawn Friedrich that the pug has been found.

Original—The owner of Shamous, an 8- or 9-year-old pug, is looking for her beloved pooch after he went missing around 3 p.m. Thursday.

Dawn Friedrich recently posted on the Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch's Facebook page alerting the community that Shamous had gone missing.

Friedrich said the pug was last seen wearing "his blue sweater" around Ridgely Road in Edgewater. Resident Debbie Lawrence wrote on Facebook that she and her son saw a pug near Old Town Road in Edgewater, but were unable to grab it.
